God the lack of subtlety for that costuming, tho:

Like they’re so HILARIOUSLY opposite each other:

• White/black
  

• HUGELY puffy sleeves/slim sleeves
  

• Prim Victorian collar/structured v-neck
  

• Pink flower/hug red rose
  

On the other hand the almost baffling touches of lace to Lucille’s neckline & sleeves is theoretically there to bridge the gap a little? The same way Edith’s got touches of black (the detailing on her neck, the lining of the fruffiness of her hat). Also Edith’s red earrings match Lucille’s red rose. Like they’re SO OPPOSITE but there’s touches of connection. 

Also black moth/butterfly metaphor??? The costuming reflects that!!
